New year, new name
There have been a few changes around here, the biggest of which is the name change. Out of Place is now Best France Forever.
Why? Well, much as I liked Out of Place and how it conveyed that ‘fish out of water’ feeling many expats have, it had a negativity to it that I felt was, well, out of place with my own experience. Secondly, it wasn’t very French. I wanted a name that tied in more closely with the subject matter of the site. And thirdly, I’m a sucker for puns.
If you look hard you’ll see that they site has also been given a spit ‘n’ shine. It’s whizzier and more colourful than before. Plus it works well on mobile devices now.
Other than that, it’s the same as before. I hope you enjoy and Happy New Year!
