    This was really well done! I got 7 out of 10. I’ve been to restaurants where the cheese was served just before dessert (part of the prix fixe) and was a separate course and also when it’s offered as an option instead of a sweet dessert. I hesitated on a few questions — not a fan o foie gras or pate so I guessed! Got them both wrong. ;0(

      Well done, 7/10 is the highest score so far! Glad you enjoyed it. Maybe the cheese answers are a bit misleading… I was thinking of dinners in someone’s home where (in my experience anyway) it’s always served as a separate course but I wasn’t thinking of restaurants. I think I’ll take out that option. I didn’t know the answers to the glasses questions and only knew the foie gras one after my French colleagues (jokingly) mocked me for not know the fork rule. It’s a complicated business!

    The glasses question was interesting, as was the one on champagne.

    When you serve green salad really depends on where you’re from : with cheese in Paris and Northern France, as a starter everywhere else…
